How Do We Store Your Data
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Personal Data and Data Protection
We work in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and comply with its regulations, as well as those outlined by the 2018 GDPR update. We keep information for as long as necessary to comply with legislation. Order data is currently kept for 7 years according to current legal requirements. We do not provide lists of our web processed data to any third parties.
We take all reasonable care and have put in place various security procedures to prevent any unauthorised access to, and use of, your personal data, but it should be noted that the internet in and of itself is not a secure medium. We limit access to data to relevant personnel and password-protect all machinery holding personal data.
In accordance with your rights under the Act, you may request the amendment of the personal information held, or to cease receiving direct marking materials even after consent has been given by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
You may also instruct us to remove your details from our database entirely by writing to Greta's Farm Shop, 13 Dalmeny Avenue, Norbury, SW16 4RS. You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
